NATAC attended SupplySide West in Vegas, where the Aquolive project was presented to all attendees that visited our booth (#5464). Aquolive is particularly appealing to companies in the feed industry to whom the latest project developments and validity tests, designed in the previous months, were presented. These tests, which are currently being carried out in sea cages, aim to prove the validity of Aquolive’s effect on salmon, raised on the experimental diet, compared to controlled salmon, raised under normal conditions.
Aquolive’s main objective is to market an innovative additive from olive, for the salmon aquaculture industry. This study will have a great impact on the future of feed for salmon in improving the health of fish. Which will translate into increased production, improved animal welfare, and higher quality of salmon for human consumption.
Aquolive’s presence at an inclusive fair, such as SupplySide West, is a stepping stone towards the larger goal for the project. Additionally, we found success in informing and teaching potential clients and collaborators.
